These six steps are the same across the whole registration family, which is genuinely useful: learn them once and any of those players is straightforward.

  • Test at your normal viewing hourPlay one channel for two minutes, then change channel five times. Streaming and navigating are two different loads.

Set the time zone by name

A named zone carries its own clock changes. An offset in hours does not, so a setup correct today is wrong after the next change.

Let the catalogue finish loading

A large catalogue takes a moment on first open. Forcing the player closed while it reads is what corrupts a profile.

One device plays at a time

Install the line anywhere you like, but only one screen plays at once. Extra screens are separate accounts at a reduced rate, said here rather than after you pay.

Nothing of ours to install

Questions about Hot Player

Why would I use this rather than the others?
Usually because it is the one your television store actually carries. Between the four registration players, most curated stores have at least one.
Is the activation the same?
Yes: an address and a key shown on screen, registered on the publisher's site from another device.
Does it work with a MAG portal?
No. That is a third mechanism, and a Formuler box with MYTVOnline 3 is the usual answer for it.
Does it work with a MAG style portal?
A MAG box, and the many boxes built to behave like one, does not take a playlist and does not take an Xtream login. It expects a portal address entered in the box's own settings, and it identifies itself to that portal by its MAC address, which is printed underneath the box. That is a third mechanism, separate from the two above, and confusing it with them is the reason a great many MAG owners believe their line is broken when it is simply in the wrong shape. MYTVOnline 3 on a Formuler box speaks all three, which is why it is the usual recommendation for anyone who has collected devices over the years.
