IPTV for Firestick

XtreamCube works on every Amazon Fire TV device. Installing IPTV for
Firestick takes about five minutes on a Fire TV Stick, Stick 4K, Stick Lite or Fire TV Cube.
Your subscription opens 33,000+ live channels and
330,000+ movies and series in HD and 4K, with a full programme guide.

In short

Install the Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore, use it to install BOB Player,
then activate with the device code shown on your screen. Your channels and programme guide
load automatically. A Fire Stick streams over Wi-Fi only, so a strong 5 GHz signal makes
the difference – 10 Mbps for reliable 1080p, 25 Mbps for 4K.

How to install IPTV for Firestick

Fire TV does not use the Google Play Store, so players are installed through the
Downloader app. The whole process takes about five minutes.

  1. Allow installation from unknown sources. On your Fire TV, go to
Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and turn on
    Install unknown apps for Downloader.
  2. Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore – search for it on the
    home screen, it is free.
  3. Open Downloader and ask us for the current download code. Our team
sends it through the live chat on this site or by email, in under a minute. We keep it
out of this page on purpose: these codes change, and a stale one wastes your time.
  4. Install the player when prompted, then open it.
  5. Activate. BOB Player and IBO Player show a device code – send it to us
and we activate your line. Other players ask for your Server URL, Username and Password
    instead, sent by email.
  6. Let the import finish. Channels and the programme guide load on their
own. You are ready to watch.

Programme guide and recording

Electronic programme guide. XtreamCube provides a full EPG listing what
airs on each channel, often up to a week ahead. Guide data is refreshed every 24 hours on our
side, and most players update on their own.

Organising channels. Inside your player you can filter, group and rename
channels, build favourites, hide the ones you never watch, and sort by genre or region.

Recording. XtreamCube delivers the stream; recording is handled by your
app. iMPlayer and TiviMate both include a DVR function that saves broadcasts locally – though
on a Fire Stick, storage fills quickly, so an external drive is worth considering.

Subtitles. Many live and VOD streams carry multi-language subtitles. Most
players let you switch them on, change language and adjust synchronisation.

Wi-Fi, speed and IPTV buffering on a Firestick

This is the single biggest difference with other devices. Except for the
Fire TV Cube, no Fire TV device has an Ethernet port – everything goes over Wi-Fi. Most
buffering complaints on a Fire Stick trace back to the signal, not the stream.

5 Mbps

25 Mbps+

4K UHD

Stick 4K or Cube only

If a stream buffers

  1. Use the 5 GHz band – it is far less congested than 2.4 GHz, and a Fire
Stick often connects to the wrong one by default
  2. Move the stick closer to the router, or use the HDMI extender supplied
in the box – being tucked behind the television costs signal
  3. Lower the quality – 4K down to HD when bandwidth is tight
  4. Clear the app cache in Settings → Applications, or restart
    the device
  5. Check for downloads – a large transfer on the network starves the stream

Still buffering? Our team is reachable at any hour through the live chat on this site or by email.

Freeing up storage

Fire TV devices ship with limited internal storage, and it fills up faster than people
expect. If installation fails or the player becomes sluggish:

  • Uninstall apps you no longer use, in Settings → Applications → Manage
    Installed Applications
  • Clear the cache of the heaviest apps from the same screen
  • Keep a single IPTV player installed rather than three
  • On a Fire TV Cube, connect an external drive if you record regularly

Watching on more than one screen

One subscription streams to one device at a time. That is a firm limit,
not a soft one: a single account cannot be shared across two screens at once, and attempting
it simply interrupts whoever is watching.

When two people need different channels at the same time, the answer is a
second account rather than a shared one. Each additional login costs
15% less than the first, keeps its own favourites and resume points, and
neither screen ever cuts the other off.

See the exact rates on the
subscription plans page.

Frequently asked questions

Does XtreamCube work on every Fire TV model?
Yes – Stick, Stick 4K, Stick Lite, Cube and Fire TV Edition televisions. Only the maximum
picture quality differs.

Do I need to jailbreak my Firestick?
No. You simply allow installation from unknown sources in the developer settings, which is a
standard Fire TV option.

Which IPTV player is best for a Firestick?
BOB Player is the quickest to get running on Fire TV. Pick IBO Player if you also watch on a
Samsung or LG television and want the same interface.

Can I connect a Fire Stick by cable?
Not directly – only the Fire TV Cube has an Ethernet port. An official Ethernet adapter exists
for the Stick, and it is the most effective fix for persistent buffering.

Can I record programmes on a Firestick?
Yes, through your app. iMPlayer and TiviMate include a DVR function – watch your storage, it
fills quickly on a Fire Stick.

How much internet speed does a Fire Stick need?
10 Mbps for reliable 1080p, 25 Mbps or more for 4K, around 5 Mbps for SD and 720p.

Can I try XtreamCube on a Firestick before subscribing?
Yes. The free trial gives full access, so you can test the channels, the picture and your own
Wi-Fi before paying anything.

Stuck at any point? We answer.

Whatever your device and whatever the
question – installation, activation, picture quality, billing – our team is reachable
through the live chat on this site or by email, around
the clock. You are never left to work it out on your own.
